1989 By this date in a rush to globalize, 5 accounting firms adopted algorithms of brand valuation which were all about puffery and zero to do with trust. Soon other intangible algorithms were separated out into additive balance sheets deconstructing what should have been mapped as goodwill integral and value multiplying system of productive and demanding relationships between employees, customers, owners, local societies and global market sectors audited to value sustainability. Furthermore global accountants continued archaic rituals such as booking all people in as costs to cut while technology could be booked in as investment. This magnified the trap that history had taught us that when technology changes the world use it to help people create better jobs and higher quality not to replace people.

2000 Brookings Economics and Georgetown also issued report “Unseen Wealth” pointing to missing system audit of intangibles and bleakly predicting until or unless this is instituted the world’s biggest systems will compound ever greater unseen risks. The incoming Bush administration in the first quarter of 2001 sent the Chairlady of this report to Tennessee (van der bilt) canceling her DC research funds. And the decade of compounding loss if sustainability began. Of many disasters caused by failing to value trust-flow and boundary transparency, the simplest to record is the fate of Big 5 Accountant Andersen. 2007-2008 Of all the absurd wastes of young people through a decade what wall street did with MBA mindsets and fancy derivatives remains the greatest national sabotage of brainpower the world has seen. Of course job and youth destruction will continue to be a serial event IN USA and anywhere until or unless societies actions the missing audit of compound risk, and until education at all ages delivers far more understanding of system design now that we live in an age where networks= system**N
